In silence
Do not tell them yet.
You know the feeling. You have the idea, you are buzzing, and you want to say it out loud to someone so it feels real. So you do, at dinner, and they say that is amazing, and you feel great. And then, strangely, you never quite start.
There is a study on this. When you announce a goal and get congratulated, your brain files the congratulations as progress. The identity arrives before the work does, and the pressure that would have pushed you to the desk leaks out at the dinner table instead.
So keep it in your pocket for a while. Work on it when nobody is asking. Show them the thing, not the plan. The ones who matter will notice. The ones who do not would not have helped anyway.
Still Here
