Subtract
Every plan you have made for ten years has said add. The body. The title. The person. The city. Every ad, every feed, every conversation at a wedding: add this, and then you will be fine.
Naval's line goes the other way. Do not add. Remove the sense that something is missing.
That sense is not information about your life. It is a habit of attention, and it was trained into you by people who sell things. Try one evening without it. Phone in a drawer, nowhere to be, nothing on the way. Notice that nothing changes, except the feeling that something should.
