A reflection · Self
I am a cage, in search of a bird.

Prepared
Eight words, and most of a life in them.
The cage is not the problem. Everyone has a shape, a set of limits, a way they were built. The problem is a cage with nothing in it, and Kafka knew that feeling well: being ready for something that has not shown up yet. A love. A purpose. A self that fits.
If that is the feeling, you are not empty. You are the room before the guest arrives.
